Our Mission:
The mission of Kilauea School is to provide relevant learning experiences for all students so they will become productive citizens in a democratic society.
Our Beliefs:
•Students need not only demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills but also need to be a good thinker and problem solver.
•Students’ self-esteem is enhanced by positive relationships and mutual respect among and between students, staff, and peers.
•Teachers, staff, administration, parents, students, and community members share in the responsibility for providing a supportive learning environment within the school to enable students to become confident, self-directed, lifelong learners.
